The Feng Shui Process

Your objectives are personal to you so the process below may not apply to your situation in its entirety. However, it will give you some idea of what I’m doing when I’m wandering around your property. For a more detailed explanation of some of the terms used please refer to the Glossary.

Here's what I do:

Calculate each person’s astrology using the 9 Star Ki system and personal Lo Shu and Kua numbers.
Assess the plot and exterior of the property using Form School. I’ll be looking for the Mountain, Tiger, Dragon and Phoenix which all provide support and nourishment.
Review the plot in which the property stands using the Early Heaven Sequence Trigrams.
Find the source and character of Chi entering the property.
Discover which Mountain the Chi is entering the property from using the Lo Pan Compass.
Identify any areas of positive or negative Chi that might affect the property using the Lo Pan Compass.
Assess the internal Form of the building to ensure you gain the maximum support from your environment.
Review the building’s layout using the Later Heaven Sequence Trigrams.
Fly the Lo Shu and current Fate stars to the layout.
Assess the property room by room or area by area for strengths or weaknesses of the stars and for balance of the Five Elements.
Advise on measures to enhance the positive aspects of your property, strengthen the weak areas and minimise any negative effects.
Perform a space clearing ritual to remove accumulated or stuck Chi. (Usually performed separately).
